Maycol, who is a native of New York city, has more then 30 years experience in music, known as a ONE MAN BAND for the style of playing either keyboard or piano and performing as a lead vocal strong singer. During his starting years he has performed at the renowned Play Boy Club in New York where Frank Sinatra was performing, as well as with Freddy Cole (Nat king cole’s brother), and many more great artists.
Maycol’s talent took him to Mexico and for more then 10 years, he has performed all over the country doing special events and conventions like performing for the President of Mexico Ernesto Zedillo’s (conference, 1994), Performing for Bill Clinton and Bill Gates at the XVI International Aids Conference in Toronto Canada (2006) 40,000 people with Barry I. White. Maycol has been performing in Cannes France, Palm Beach FL. Marbella Spain, Algarve Portugal, Geneva, Holland, Cancún (Riviera Maya), Thailand, Toronto Canada, New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, Bora Bora, etc.
Maycol started as Musical school Teacher graduated from Florida A & M University his talent took him to be a performer using piano as his favorite instrument and he developed an incredible ability playing Jazz with his unique Soul-Funky style using his left hand for bass and right hand for solos and accompaniment.
Maycol’s large vocal range allows him to perform songs much like Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, Al Jarreu, Lou Rawls, Lionel Richie, The Stylistics, The Bee Gees, The Platters, etc. His repertoire goes from JAZZ to R&B , Soul and light Rock even some Latin and Pop music.
Maycol has performed (4 months summer period during 2007 to 2013) in one of the best hotels in the World (HOTEL MARTINEZ) in Cannes, France. As well, for the last 4 years, he has performed for Mr. Donald Trump (his VIP private club Mar-a-Lago) during Palm Beach, FL high season (Nov to May of 2011 to 2015) and actually doing events there for Maralago Members.
he has performed in long term contracts and different hotels, Country Clubs and restaurants around the world actually you can find him in the Palm Beach Shores Resort in Singer Island, FL.
